Inspector Dave Snasdell

I have been the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector at Winsford since 2008 and I hope that the community has seen a reduction in the levels of both crime and anti-social behaviour within the area they live and work.

We have seen a reduction of 11 per cent in recorded crime since April 2009 and a positive outcome for crimes detected of 30.1 per cent. I continue to ensure my teams tackle those issues which directly affect your daily lives. We will continue to build on the excellent work carried out by my staff at Winsford, other policing teams in the area and partner agencies that support the local Neighbourhood Team.

I promised that I would work hard to tackle drug issues in our community in a proactive, robust way. We have conducted many operations and warrants in the past year which have disrupted criminal activity. Many offenders have been given prison sentences and we have seized significant amounts of illegal drugs, assets and cash from offenders. With the support of the community, this work will continue.

My PCSOs and PC Di Woodward, our School Liaison officer, spend a considerable amount of time working on community projects to prevent the younger generation being involved with unacceptable behaviour and crime.

This year, I am holding monthly meetings at the Dingle Centre so you can discuss and issues affecting your area with me and my staff, so that we can tackle them.
