Sergeant Penny Jones

I joined the Metropolitan Police in 1989, spending six years in central London before transferring to Cheshire Constabulary. I have worked in a number of departments including the Uniformed Response Team, Public Protection Unit and also as a detective in CID before being promoted to the Sergeant on the Neighbourhood Policing Team based at Middlewich.

More than 20 years down the line, I am still enjoying policing and take a great deal of pride in the work that the team and I carry out around Middlewich, Holmes Chapel and the surrounding areas.

My priorities for the Neighbourhood Policing Team are to be visible and accessible and to reduce the levels of crime and anti-social behaviour within the community.

PC Laura Grant

I joined the Police in January 2007 and I am currently part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team at Middlewich and Holmes Chapel, where I am enjoying working closely with the community and relishing the fresh challenges of this role. Prior to joining the police, I went to university and completed a masters degree in Spanish with linguistics before spending a short time working as a human resources and payroll systems analyst.
